Dual Strike: Attack the same target with both weapons.Bear Claw: Short ranged axe throw that stuns.Gathering Storm: Melee attack that creates a massive tornado on top of the target, dealing 50/50 physical and magic damage as it spins in place for a few seconds.īarbs now also have a throwing skill tree and their own class specific weapons.Tremor: Melee attack that stuns and damages the target and nearby enemies.Onslaught: Sequence of three rapid single target attacks with your main hand.Leap Attack: As vanilla, but also stuns the target, and is mana gated, but deals a lot of damage.Windshear: Melee attack that releases a wind blast behind the target, doing 50/50 physical and magic damage based on your attack damage.Intimidate: Melee attack that does less damage, but fears the target away for a duration. It’s just you, your weapon and the truth. The Brotherhood one intentionally has none of that. The Median XL barbarian has lots of support from external sources, such as the Ancients summons and guard towers. Here’s the current state of the barbarian class.įighting, fighting, fighting the world Berserker The Brotherhood barbarian has more variety in attacks, as well as more AoE capability without turning the class into a screen filling spam fiesta like the Median XL (or Path of Exile) class. It has a litany of very similar single target attacks, and everything else is buffs or Grim Ward. The vanilla barbarian is one of the worst designed Diablo 2 classes. The goal is to make D2R a more tactical game, instead of just "plan build, make build, try to stay awake for 5000 boss runs". It is similar in scope to Median XL for classic D2, but offers a more "gritty" approach instead of big exploding fireworks. Brotherhood is an upcoming total conversion mod for D2R, replacing most character skills, the item system, monster AI and behaviour, and adding new challenges.
